We are a Teaching Practice

Starting Now Healthcare is now a teaching practice with student psychologists and clinical psychologists working under Tracey’s supervision.

As such you may be asked to have a student sit in on your session…. Don’t hesitate to let us know if this is not something you would be comfortable with if you are asked.

Also, we are aways open to feedback so please email Tracey if you would like to provide some!

You may also be seeing one of the students as your therapist. They are guided and monitored between sessions so you may rest assured you are in experienced hands. We will have explained to you that no Medicare rebate is available if you are seeing one of these students, so our fee is reduced to $80 per hour.

All students are covered under the appropriate insurances and legislations, and Tracey is a qualified and licensed Clinical Psychologist Supervisor, supervising other fully qualified psychologists on a regular basis as well as the students you may see at Starting Now.
